Nancy C. Hall

Mrs. Nancy C. Hall, widow of James O. Hall, passed away on August 30, 2026 at the age of 100.

Born in Bennington on August 6, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth and Doris (Warren) Cornell. She received her education in the Shaftsbury and North Bennington schools and was a 1944 graduate of North Bennington High School.

Mr. & Mrs. Hall were married June 26, 1944. Mr. Hall died February 10, 1972. She was employed at Union Carbide Corporation for 48 years until retirement from Eveready in 2000.

She enjoyed crocheting, knitting and gardening.

Survivors include a son, Kenneth Hall of Westfield, Massachusetts; a granddaughter; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by a sister and five brothers, Beverly Coon, Owen, Robert, Warren, Ronald and Francis Cornell.

A funeral will be on Friday, September 4, 2026 at E.P Mahar and Sons Funeral Home in Bennington at 11:00 am. Interment to follow service at Center Shaftsbury Cemetery in the family lot.

She was a member of the Bennington Church of Christ.
