Louise C Montuori

Louise “Lucy” Montuori, 79 of Arlington, Vermont, passed away on May 1, 2026 at the The Center for Living and Rehabilitation in Bennington. Lucy was born in the Bronx, New York on January 3, 1947, the daughter of John and Rosalie (Fiola) Montuori. She married John O’Rourke on Lake Champlain in 2004.

Lucy was a former publishing executive for many years in New York. She loved the mountains of Vermont and moved to Vermont permanently in 2004. She was a novice chef and loved dancing. She had a love for dogs, especially Bichons. She was an avid supporter of Wounded Warriors, St Judes Hospital and many other noble causes.

She is survived by all who cared for her.

Family and friends may call at the EP Mahar and Son Funeral Home in Bennington on Friday May 8, 2026, from 2:00-4:30 pm. A Service will be conducted during the visitation at 2:30 PM. Burial in Park Lawn Cemetery will take place on Saturday May 9, 2026, at 10:00 AM.
