Donna Lee Buck

Donna Lee Buck passed away suddenly on August 4, 2026, at the age of 80. Donna was born in Chelsea, MA on January 17, 1946, to Harry and Marge Moon. Donna graduated from Bennington Catholic High School in 1964 and married Francis Buck on September 5, 1964. She worked in various places including Tansitor Electronics, Montgomery Wards, and Sears Roebuck, before retiring from NSK Steering Systems quality assurance department.

Donna was an active member of the Sacred Heart St. Francis Church and the Vermont State Fire Fighters Association doing membership and dues as well as working at the cadet academy. She enjoyed cooking, shopping, gardening, kayaking, and spending time with family and friends.

Donna is survived by her husband Francis, children Catherine Haas and Bonnie (Michael) Lemieux, grandchildren Lindsay LaTour, Ashley LaTour and Kylee (Brian) Sibik. She has 5 great-grandchildren, Carter Dunn, Jayden Welch, Colton LaTour, Noah LaTour, and Maddox Sibik, all of whom she loved spending time with, as well as many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents, Harry and Marge Moon.

A time for visitation will be held on August 10, 2026 at EP Mahar & Son Funeral Home located in Bennington from 11:00-1:00 PM. A memorial service will follow afterwards. The burial will be held at Saint John the Baptist Cemetery in North Bennington following the service.
